I’ve been having trouble with my hair so I emailed my friend who had a friend who had a friend who knew “Chit Chat” and found out if you can “play a tune” on your hair after a shampoo, it’s clean! It needn’t give off the rich tones of a violin but when you rub your hands over your wet hair you should hear a good loud squeak. Otherwise more rinsing and maybe another sudsing. Ordinarily a couple of good latherings is enough but the number of rinses varies with the individual. Chit Chat says rub your hands firmly over your wet hair and if it doesn’t squeak just keep rinsing! My friend says she will send more from Chit Chat later.
